Pundits and fleshmouth-purveyors are preparing to kick it all off again with the news from Nicola Sturgeon, First Minister of Scotland, that she will be seeking another referendum owing to the potential ramifications of the Westminster-led negotiations over Brexit upon Scotland.

Whilst groups on both sides of the border are preparing to slog it out online for the foreseeable future, the real conflict on whether or not it’s ‘referenda’ or ‘referendums’, which some have estimated will ravage on, unresolved, until the stars die out and the universe is cold and empty. Nonetheless, both sides continue to claim it really is an important debate.
