The statue of Long Boi wearing a red knitted scarf and blue hat, looking out over the Campus lake. There is an info board nearby showing the different types of bird life in the lake. It is a late autumnal afternoon with the golden sun setting behind the trees beyond the lake

Long Boi, More Like Long Bye! Get It? Because He Was Moved

Oh you don’t get it? You poor thing, you silly sausage! Well, the joke is quite sophisticated, so I suppose you can be forgiven.

You see, the word “bye” in the joke relates to the fact that the statue was moved, but it also sounds like “boi”, as in Long Boi. This double meaning gives a delightful and naughty little bit of wordplay.

Do you get it now? Were you able to comprehend my explanation? Do let me know if you need it broken down a little bit more. I’d be happy to make it into a song, or a video… spoon feed it into you like the baby you are.

Right, you already get it. I take full credit. You are so welcome. So very, very welcome.
