The levels of smugness emanating from an undisclosed location in Moscow today are off the charts with Julian Assange being ejected from the Ecuadorian embassy in London. Edward Snowden is really smug about thinking through his plan to evade the authorities, rather than just going to the embassy of a country with a minor family connection, asking for asylum, and then being a massive dick of a guest for 7 years, forgetting they had the power to expel him at any time. Additionally, despite being in Russia, Edward Snowden has apparently avoided the need to be an obvious shill for Russia and undermining US democracy (which doesn’t need any help to be undermined).

In unrelated news, there has a been significant reduction in the levels of porn being downloaded at the Ecuadorian embassy.
