Bethesda Game Studios have begun to tease the next game in their flagship post-apocalyptic RPG series Fallout with the launch of a long-range missile from Pyongyang, capable of reaching any major city in the USA. Experts say the projectile went ten times higher than the International Space Station — a move sure to get Fallout fans excited. President Donald Trump responded to the marketing with a series of vitriolic tweets slamming the North Korean regime and praising the business savvy of ‘good hombre’ Todd Howard, an executive at the games company.
Howard released a statement on his website, thanking Trump for his praise and hinting at things to come in the near future:
Everyone here at Bethesda is thrilled at the terror and fear our marketing has produced this far — and we promise there’s more to come. I can’t give out any details, but in the coming months expect more nuclear threats and escalating tensions in the Korean peninsula. The marketing for Fallout 5 has only just begun: we’re also planning more clandestine nuclear tests from Kim Jong-Un, and a special secret is being prepared for the E3 official announcement of the game. I’m not allowed to spoil it, but here’s a hint: it involves the total annihilation of America and Europe in a rain of radioactive hellfire!
